My love for skincare began as early as I can remember… around 9 years old I was smudging my face all over with homemade apple mask. At 13 years old I was doing full facials at a beauty academy. Fast forward at 16, my mom had joined a company that sold “natural” skincare products and she took me along with her to countless workshops talking about the benefits of skincare. By the time I was in high school, I was the only one of all my friends that used a daily eye serum religiously and had a skincare routine.

During all these years I’ve been trying every product I can get my hands on. After never really feeling I had found “the one” due to all the unknown ingredients and lack of results. That’s when I realized I could create a skincare line that would finally end my search, and Dhaerma was born.

As I studied Chemistry in college my concern about the ingredients that goes into daily used products raised. I started paying close attention to labels and researching each one of the ingredients for side effects and that’s how I started slowly removing all of the skincare products I had been using. I struggled finding a high-quality product, without toxic chemicals or fragrance that didn’t smell bad, felt good on my skin and actually delivered results. After years on the search, I decided to just quit skincare completely and take care of my skin through my diet and lifestyle. That was good enough for a while but then my skin started showing signs of dryness and age. So it was time to take care of it in a different way...and that was when I embarked on a new journey towards the creation of Dhaerma.
